The Department of Agriculture, Food & The Marine (DAFM) in Ireland has been a client of Morrows on numerous occasions since 2017, and we always relish the opportunity to play our part in facilitating conversation on important issues. Through impactful events and sleek graphic design outputs we have helped DAFM inform, inspire, and drive change amongst agri-food manufacturers, processors, farmers, science practitioners and policy makers.
Following a successful tender bid, in June 2025, we co-ordinated and delivered a weeklong schedule of events held which were held in the iconic Dublin Castle – a venue we are very familiar with. From the outset, we agreed our shared vision and priorities for what success looked like and then put our project management skills to work across venue, transport, design, AV, catering, security, website, printing and more. We developed a detailed resourcing and delivery plan, with a critical timeline for all parties involved.
The first event of the week saw a 2 day Council Meeting for the Global Research Alliance on Greenhouse Gasses, with over 40 global representatives participating both in person and online – we provided technical/hybrid event production and on site support for the meeting and gala dinner in the prestigious National Portrait Gallery.
The flagship event was the National Agri-Climate Conference – Science into Action – a one day conference in the Printworks for 500+ delegates which aimed to delve into the solutions that science can provide on tackling climate issues for the sector. An Taoiseach Micheál Martin TD provided the opening remarks, with Ministers Heydon and Grealish co-hosting the week and local media looking on with interest, our team had an added pressure to ensure the smooth operation and timings were tightly executed.
Our collaborative effort transformed complex logistics into a smooth, engaging event that spotlighted climate action and encouraged connection and conversation on a global scale.
