Morrow Communications’ creative team developed the brand and all packaging design for the new-look Shindigs crisps brand, owned by Glens of Antrim Potatoes.
Our creative team worked closely with the Shindigs brand team to research the competitive marketplace, draw out consumer insights and create a new, refreshed brand that would appeal to both the domestic UK and Ireland market as well as emerging international markets in the USA and Middle East.
Our creative played on the heritage of the brand and its strong ties with the Glens of Antrim. Our creative approach positioned the brand as a family-owned, artisan product, hand-cut and made with the skill, care and attention that has been passed down through the generations.

Customer insight told us that convention in colour choice representing crisp flavours was viewed positively. We took our steer from colours that are traditionally associated with crisp flavours but chose punchy, strong tones to reflect the intensity of the crisp flavours.
Our on-pack messaging pulled out the product’s unique selling points – served in a handy box perfect for sharing and highlighting the crisps gluten free credentials.
Since the re-brand Shindigs has gained listings in both retail and licensed premises in key markets and is now stocked in Sainsbury’s, Tesco and artisan retailers across the UK and Ireland.
