Morrow Communications has held the video production services contract with CCEA for several years, creating a large body of video work ranging from instructional videos on how to perform CPR, to case studies involving teachers and students.

One project we undertook for CCEA was a series of Survivor Stories videos. These videos featured testimonials from people who had survived an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, as well as from those who had performed the lifesaving CPR.

Filming was conducted at participants’ houses, which provided an intimate feel. We got to talk at length to the participants beforehand, ensuring they felt at ease talking with us about a sensitive and personal subject. The b-roll featured also provided a personal touch, such as looking at family photos and capturing moments with family members.

We worked closely with the team at CCEA from initial briefing stages right through to post-production and final delivery to ensure all content was delivered in line with timelines, budgets and that it achieved the desired look and feel.

These videos currently sit within CCEA’s Community of Lifesavers App, which has been rolled out across schools in Northern Ireland, a go-to resource providing students with the lifesaving CPR skills.
