Part of a global organisation, Scotland-based Semex UK is an animal breeding (ai) company whose products serve the UK and ROI markets. We were appointed to handle the media relations for its annual dairy conference for the last three consecutive years.
The conference is one of the biggest events in the UK agricultural calendar, attracting producers and commentators across the sector within the UK and beyond. Our objectives are to ensure the broadest possible coverage of the event across the UK and Ireland and to ensure the attendance of key agricultural media.
From our base in NI, we secure excellent coverage levels in all target media – press and broadcast – across the regions. We do this by providing timely and full media communication and updates in the run up to the three-day event, generating creative news angles to rejuvenate interest in this long established event, providing a full conference news writing service during the three days, and creating post event newsworthy round-ups. In all things, media and client relations are key – and although based in a different country to our client, we more than delivered!
