The Brief:
The Northern Ireland National Training Awards is an annual flagship event hosted by the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL). The purpose of the awards is to recognise and reward individuals, partnerships, public, private and the voluntary sector who have shown clear benefits achieved through training and developing the skills of their people. The audience consisted of the Minister for Employment and Learning, senior DEL representatives and key stakeholders alongside the finalists and their guests for each award.
The Event:
The Exhibition space at the Europa Hotel was chosen as the venue for National Training Awards and Morrows worked alongside the designers, set and staging suppliers and lighting specialists to create an awards room that was visually stunning within budget.
Morrows managed the full sponsorship of the National Training Awards from writing the initial sponsorship proposal to selling and securing both Principal and Category Sponsorship for the award categories as well as a Media Partner.
Morrows managed all third party suppliers for the awards including audio visual and autocue production, management of venue including the design of menu, sourcing appropriate room dressing to suit the tone of the event, sourcing and booking of entertainment.
The Result:
220 guests gathered in the Europa Hotel on an autumnal evening where they heard from the Minister for Employment and Learning and celebrated with the presentation of 12 award categories. Great food, fantastic entertainment and an enjoyable evening that finished ahead of schedule made the event memorable for all.
