US:NI Investment Conference

The Brief

The landmark US:NI Investment Conference saw 150 business leaders representing 90 companies jet into Northern Ireland for an action packed three day visit. During this period Invest NI demonstrated through a series of high profile events that Northern Ireland is “open for business.”  Morrow Communications designed a series of high profile events to introduce the leaders of industry to the new Northern Ireland - a forward thinking, innovative and economically viable option to expand their business.

Morrow Communications undertook full event management of the project, from concept to conclusion, providing an invaluable consultancy service as well as practical support in delivering the event.

The Event

Morrow had the challenging task of managing a varied programme of eight separate events over the three day period. Among the visiting dignitaries were UK Prime Minister, Gordon Brown; the RoI Taoiseach, Brian Cowen; Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York, Ambassadors and senior diplomats. The Results

“Receptions were meticulously organised, food and drink were of a very high standard and there were high profile lunch and dinner events at both Stormont and Hillsborough Castle designed to provide the Americans with a certain “wow” factor.” Irish Times, 9th May 2008.
